Kashrut:

- No pork and no shellfish, no game meat and no imitations.

- Effort to rid the meat of any visible blood & avoiding the hindquarter.

- Kosher wine only.

- No meat and dairy together (6 hour separation rule) & no imitation of either with the other.

- Checking eggs for blood spots and vegetables and fruit for bugs.

- No fish and meat together.

- All meat at home to be eaten on a disposable paper plate.

- Daily Kitchen Cleaning with exception of Shabbat.


Tefillah and Jewish Calendar:

- Follow Jewish Calendar, celebrate Holidays and adhere to religious fasts + adhere to prayer attributes of each particular event.

- Following Zmanim.

- Using combination of Mishkan T'Filah, Sim Shalom, Lev Shalom and ArtScroll Siddurim.

- Kabbalat Shabbat/Family Dinner & Shabbat Morning Services Attendance.

- Sunday Shacharit Minyan Attendance & Monday-Friday Twice Min Minyan Attendance.

- Weekly Shabbat Group Torah Study & Daily Study of Laws of Shabbat.

- Bowing (Berakhot 12B) & feet alignment (Berakhot 10B) during Amidah.

- Tallit worn each Shabbat and Sunday Minyan & Tallit covering one's head during Amidah in Shul.

- Tallit worn during each morning prayer.

- No food or drink (except for water) min 20 minutes before Shacharit, Mincha and Maariv...management of what is eaten within a 2 hour period prior to prayer in order to avoid drowsiness.

- Recite daily at least 10 prayers in Hebrew (no repetitions) & 1 full Amidah daily in Hebrew.

- Birkat Hamazon.

- Never exit the sanctuary with the one's back towards the Torah.

- Restricted personal phone usage during Shabbat (no browsing/texting, emergency calls allowed). (NEW) 


Other:

- Mezuzot: on all outside doors/touching when coming in and out of the house & checking all daily.

- No shaving with a razor [Leviticus 19:27] , nor removing completely the hair on the side of the head.

- Shomer Negiah.

- Jewish Speech Rules as per Greenburg in "Jewish Household."

- Daily fulfillment of  min 1  Eilu D'Varim deed.
