Kashrut:

- No pork and no shellfish, no game meat and no imitations; only permitted fish, fowl & meat.

- No foods with blood as an ingredient / effort to rid the meat of any visible blood & avoiding the hindquarter.

- Checking eggs for blood spots and vegetables and fruit for bugs; no gelatin.

- No meat and dairy together (6/3 hour separation rule) & no imitation of either with the other.

- Kosher wine only & Yayin Mevushal; Pas Israel; Bishul Yisrael; Marit Ayin.

- All food at home to be eaten on disposable paper plates and with disposable utensils.

- No veal (Tza'ar ba'alei chayim); no fish and meat together.

- Daily kitchen cleaning with exception of Shabbat; making sure food properly covered.


Tefillah, Shabbat and Jewish Calendar:

- Follow Jewish Calendar, celebrate Holidays and adhere to religious fasts + adhere to prayer attributes of each particular event; participate in all Bar/Bat Mitzvas in my Synagogue.

- Tallit worn during each morning prayer, and covering one's head during Amidah when Tallit worn.

- No food or drink (except for water) min 20 minutes before Shacharit, Mincha and Maariv...management of what is eaten within a 2 hour period prior to prayer in order to avoid drowsiness.

- Recite daily at least 10 prayers in Hebrew (no repetitions) & 1 full Amidah daily in Hebrew.

- Birkat Hamazon & Blessings: Bread, Grains, Fruit, Vegetables & Other Foods.

- Never exit the sanctuary with the one's back towards the Torah; hurry towards the synagogue/class/Torah/prayer...and move away slowly.

- Shabbat restrictions on: income work, business transactions, electronics/phone/electricity usage, fire kindling, driving, money use, carrying, creating/destroying, activities involving evolving change/start/finish point, building/tool usage, writing, planning, cooking, washing, repairing/sewing/tearing, planting/gardening/harvesting and involvement in regular chores; rules surrounding the Muktzeh.

- Shalosh Seudos; Zemiros for Shabbos; Separation of Challah; Compensatory Blessings; Amelioration of a Dream; Verses For People's Names.

- Study of Mesadrim & the flow of Shabbat liturgy / acceptance of honors / synagogue involvement/volunteering.
